Carrot Fertility & Maven Clinic Approved Doula in NYC
Your employer may already be paying for your doula. Here's how to use it.
YourCherish Accepts Carrot Fertility, Maven Clinic, and Cleo
If your employer offers Carrot Fertility, Maven Clinic, or Cleo as an employee benefit — you may be able to apply those funds directly to your birth doula, postpartum doula, and photography services at YourCherish.
We work with NYC families every week who are surprised to discover their employer covers doula care. You may have this benefit right now without knowing it.
Carrot Fertility
What it is: An employer-sponsored fertility and family-building benefit. Carrot Cash can be applied to a wide range of pregnancy and birth services.
Does it cover doulas? Yes — doula services are typically covered under Carrot's "Maternity Support" or "Birth" benefit category, depending on your employer's plan design.
Which NYC employers offer Carrot: Google, Meta, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Spotify, Condé Nast, LinkedIn, Airbnb, Lyft, Peloton, and hundreds of other companies across finance, tech, media, and law.

Maven Clinic
What it is: A women's and family health platform offered as an employee benefit. Maven provides access to doula services through its network and through reimbursement.
Does it cover doulas? Yes — Maven covers doula services as part of its maternity support program.
Which NYC employers offer Maven: Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, Snap, Starbucks, Boston Consulting Group, and many others.
How to use Maven at YourCherish: Contact us with your Maven benefit details. We are a Maven-compatible provider and will coordinate billing directly.
Cleo
What it is: A family health benefit platform with coverage for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum support including doula services.
Which employers offer Cleo: Amazon, Salesforce, Nike, Walmart, and others.
How to use: Log in at meetcleo.com, check your covered services, and contact us with your benefit details.
HSA / FSA
Birth and postpartum doula services are eligible expenses under most Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts. You can pay for your doula with pre-tax dollars.
We provide properly formatted invoices for HSA/FSA reimbursement. Photography services are billed separately and are not HSA/FSA eligible — we structure combined packages to maximize your eligible reimbursement.
New York State Medicaid
New York Medicaid covers birth doula services for enrolled families — up to 3 prenatal visits, labor support, and 3 postpartum visits at $0 out of pocket. We are enrolled as a NY Medicaid doula provider. Full Medicaid guide →

Why This Matters
Birth doula support in NYC typically costs $1,500 to $3,000. For many families, employer benefits cover 50% to 100% of that cost — making a private certified doula genuinely accessible.
The same families who don't check their benefits are the ones who tell us a year later they wish they had hired a doula.
Your benefit may expire at the end of the calendar year. If you have Carrot or Maven funds remaining, doula services are one of the highest-value ways to use them.
