About Danbury Hospital
Danbury Hospital is part of Northwell Health (formerly Nuvance Health). Its Family Birth Center offers private rooms with their own bathrooms for labor, delivery and the postpartum stay, so your Fresh48 session happens in a space that is yours.
Labor options include birthing tubs and care from certified nurse-midwives as well as obstetricians, and the hospital runs its own in-house doula program.
The Level III NICU is staffed in partnership with Connecticut Children's, which gives families reassurance if a baby needs extra care. We adapt the session to whatever your first days look like, including time in the NICU when staff allow it.
