The nuance of what you want. The specific way you want the moment held. The particular emotion of a Russian mother seeing her child for the first time.
Olga Zinner, the founder of YourCherish, is a native Russian speaker. She works across all five boroughs and throughout New Jersey and Connecticut, and a significant part of her client family is Russian-speaking — from Brighton Beach and Sheepshead Bay to Forest Hills and Rego Park to Riverdale and Hoboken.

Olga is a DONA-certified birth doula. She provides continuous labor support, prenatal preparation, and postpartum doula care. She accepts HSA/FSA, Carrot Fertility, and Maven Clinic. She speaks Russian throughout your entire birth experience.

Birth is not a moment for approximation. The way you ask your doula to hold counter-pressure. The specific fear you need to voice at 4am. The exact thing you want to say to your partner when you're at the edge of your capacity. These are not things that translate cleanly through an interpreter or a partner who speaks some Russian.
When your doula and photographer is a native Russian speaker, you are never alone in the room in that particular way — the way of having something important to say and not being fully heard.
