About Bellevue
Bellevue is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Labor and delivery happens in eight single-occupancy suites, and families can be cared for by midwives as well as obstetricians.
As a Regional Perinatal Center with a Level III NICU, Bellevue also cares for high-risk pregnancies and babies who need intensive care. We adapt the session to whatever your first days look like, including time in the NICU when staff allow it.
The hospital has held Baby-Friendly designation since 2016, so rooming-in and early feeding are the norm. That is exactly what a Fresh48 session documents: your baby in your arms, in your room, in those first hours.
